Stainless steel Y-strainers protect pumps, valves and instruments in corrosive, hygienic or high-purity systems by trapping particles on a removable stainless screen.
We supply SS304 and SS316 Y-strainers, threaded, socket weld and flanged, with a range of perforated and mesh screens.

Frequently asked questions
Why stainless instead of cast iron?
Stainless won't rust into the line, resists chemicals and seawater, and suits food and pharma systems where contamination matters.
How fine can the screen be?
Perforated screens with mesh liners are available down to fine meshes such as 100 or 200 mesh. Finer screens need more frequent cleaning.
Can it be installed vertically?
Yes, in downward flow with the screen pointing down. In horizontal lines, point the screen leg down for liquids.
