Forged Steel Ball Valves
Forged steel ball valves give fast quarter-turn shut-off with a strong, compact body for high-pressure service. Three-piece designs can be welded into the line and still serviced without cutting the pipe.
We supply one-, two- and three-piece forged ball valves in carbon, low-temperature and stainless steel, with floating or trunnion-mounted balls and fire-safe options.

Frequently asked questions
What is a fire-safe ball valve?
It is designed and tested (API 607 or API 6FA) to keep a tight seal, with limited leakage, after the soft seats are destroyed in a fire. It is required in many hydrocarbon services.
Why choose a 3-piece ball valve?
The centre body can be removed by unbolting it, without cutting a welded line, so seats and seals can be replaced in place.
Floating or trunnion?
Floating balls are standard in small sizes. Trunnion-mounted balls lower operating torque in larger sizes and higher pressure classes.
