Cast Iron Ball Valves
Cast iron ball valves give quick quarter-turn shut-off with a full or reduced bore, for water and general utility lines where a steel or stainless body isn't needed.
We supply flanged cast iron and ductile iron ball valves with stainless or chrome-plated balls and PTFE seats, operated by lever or gearbox and ready for actuation.

Frequently asked questions
Where is a cast iron ball valve a good choice?
For water, air and non-corrosive utility service at moderate pressure, where quick quarter-turn operation is wanted at lower cost than a steel or stainless valve.
Can these valves be automated?
Yes. Models with an ISO 5211 mounting pad accept pneumatic or electric actuators without a custom bracket.
What temperature can PTFE seats handle?
PTFE seats generally suit up to around 180°C, but the valve rating depends on pressure and seat grade. Check the manufacturer's pressure–temperature chart for the exact model.
