Cast Steel Ball Valves
Cast steel ball valves give fast, quarter-turn, bubble-tight shut-off in larger sizes and higher pressure classes. They are standard isolation valves in oil, gas and process pipelines.
We supply floating and trunnion-mounted cast steel ball valves, full or reduced bore, with soft or metal seats, fire-safe and anti-static designs, ready for gear or actuator operation.

Frequently asked questions
When do I need a trunnion-mounted ball valve?
Trunnion designs are used in larger sizes and higher pressure classes, where a floating ball would need very high torque. The fixed ball also reduces seat wear.
What is double block and bleed?
A valve that seals on both the upstream and downstream seats, with a bleed port between them, lets you confirm isolation. It is common on trunnion API 6D valves.
Soft seats or metal seats?
Soft seats (PTFE, Devlon, PEEK) give bubble-tight shut-off for clean service. Metal seats suit high temperatures and abrasive or solid-laden fluids.
