Pneumatic Actuated Butterfly Valves
Pneumatic actuated butterfly valves provide fast, automated quarter-turn isolation on medium and large-diameter lines, with fail-safe spring return where needed.
We supply wafer and lug butterfly valves with ductile iron, cast steel or stainless bodies, fitted with rack-and-pinion actuators, solenoid valves and limit switches.

Frequently asked questions
Can it modulate flow?
Yes, with a positioner that controls the actuator from a 4–20 mA signal.
How fast does it operate?
Pneumatic actuators typically stroke in one to a few seconds depending on size, faster than most electric actuators.
What does fail-safe mean?
With a spring-return actuator, the spring drives the valve to a set position (open or closed) if air or power is lost.
