Stainless steel gate valves provide full-bore, low-resistance isolation for corrosive, clean and high-purity fluids. Their stainless body and trim resist rust and chemical attack.
We supply SS304 and SS316 gate valves, cast and forged, in threaded, flanged and butt weld versions to API 603 and related standards.

Frequently asked questions
What is API 603?
API 603 covers corrosion-resistant, light-wall, bolted-bonnet gate valves with flanged or butt weld ends in Classes 150, 300 and 600.
Can stainless gate valves be used for throttling?
No. Like all gate valves, they are for fully open or fully closed service. Use a stainless globe valve for regulating flow.
What is CF3M?
CF3M is the cast, low-carbon equivalent of SS316L. Low carbon reduces corrosion at welds, so it is preferred for butt weld and socket weld valves.
