Brass Solenoid Valves

Brass Solenoid Valves

Brass Solenoid Valves

Brass solenoid valves open and close automatically when an electric coil is energized, giving remote or automatic control of water, air and light-oil lines.

We supply 2/2-way normally-closed and normally-open brass solenoid valves in direct-acting and pilot-operated designs, with coils in common AC and DC voltages.

Frequently asked questions

Normally closed or normally open?

A normally closed valve stays shut until powered, so it closes on power failure. Normally open stays open until powered. Choose based on what must happen if power fails.

Direct acting or pilot operated?

Direct-acting valves work from zero pressure but suit small orifices. Pilot-operated valves handle larger flows but need a minimum pressure difference, often about 0.3 to 0.5 bar, to open.

Which seal material should I choose?

NBR for water, air and oils; EPDM for hot water and steam; FKM (Viton) for higher temperatures and many chemicals.

Which coil voltages are available?

Common coils are 24V DC, 24V AC, 110V AC and 220V AC. Tell us the supply voltage when ordering.
