Cast Steel Globe Valves
Cast steel globe valves regulate and shut off flow on steam, feedwater and process lines at higher pressures and temperatures than iron valves can handle.
We supply bolted-bonnet cast steel globe valves in carbon, low-temperature and chrome-moly alloy steel, flanged or butt weld, including bellows-sealed and pressure-seal designs.

Frequently asked questions
Which body material should I choose for steam?
WCB carbon steel suits steam up to about 425°C. For higher temperatures, WC6 or WC9 chrome-moly steel is used. Confirm against the ASME B16.34 rating for your pressure.
What is a Y-pattern globe valve?
The seat and stem are set at an angle, which straightens the flow path. It has lower pressure drop than a standard T-pattern globe and suits high-pressure and erosive service.
What is a pressure seal bonnet?
In high pressure classes the bonnet seal is pushed tighter by line pressure, rather than relying on bolt load alone. It is used from Class 900 upward.
