Electric Actuated Ball Valves

Electric Actuated Ball Valves

Electric Actuated Ball Valves

Electric actuated ball valves combine a quarter-turn ball valve with an electric motor actuator for remote or automatic on/off and modulating control, with no compressed air needed.

We supply complete assemblies with brass, stainless steel or carbon steel ball valves and 24V DC or 220V AC actuators, with position feedback and manual override.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between on/off and modulating actuators?

An on/off actuator drives the valve fully open or fully closed. A modulating actuator positions it anywhere in between using a 4–20 mA or 0–10 V control signal.

What happens if power fails?

A standard electric actuator stays in its last position. For fail-safe closing, choose a model with a battery or spring return, or use a pneumatic spring-return actuator.

Electric or pneumatic?

Electric suits sites without compressed air and slower, precise positioning. Pneumatic is faster, simpler for fail-safe action and suits hazardous areas.

Is there a manual override?

Yes. Most actuators include a handwheel or wrench override for operation without power.
