Brass Ball Valves
Brass ball valves are compact quarter-turn valves for plumbing, water, gas and compressed air. A quick turn of the lever or butterfly handle gives full flow or full shut-off.
We supply forged brass ball valves with chrome-plated balls and PTFE seats, in full and standard bore, with threaded and compression ends for building services and light industry.

Frequently asked questions
What is DZR brass?
Dezincification-resistant brass. It resists the leaching of zinc that can weaken standard brass in aggressive or soft water, so it is preferred for potable water in such areas.
Full bore or standard bore?
Full bore matches the pipe inside diameter for maximum flow. Standard (reduced) bore is smaller and cheaper, with a slight pressure drop.
Can brass ball valves be used for hot water?
Yes, typically up to around 120°C with PTFE seats. The pressure rating reduces as temperature rises.
